If you want some entertainment, read Megan McCafferty's "(retro)blog" on her website. There's a real journal entry from her real life (like 80s-early 90s, 8th grade through college it looks like) and every so often she puts up a short entry from 2006, in which she sometimes refers to this whole scandal as "you know."

(Look I understand that she got screwed over and her audience is 16 year old girls, but why does she have to call it "you know"?)
