I'm kind of uncomfortable with this whole concept of Heroes comics that go deeper than the show. I get that it's "crossplatform" or whatever - the way you'd make a Disney book, movie, toy, etc. all at the same time - but I feel like it takes away the mystery and it also takes away the suspense. In comics, you see the whole page laid out before you read it - so you naturally see the progression of a scene ahead of time. But the show isn't like that - you can't see ahead.

So basically, NBC has built in spoilers to their own show on their own website. What's that all about?

emily, dude, i have no idea what you're talking about. clearly you didn't read comic books as a child, so your lack of perspective makes your point about the comics taking away suspense seems entirely silly. comic books are awesome, and i think this heroes comics on the web business is pretty great. actually, no, it's not all that good. each comic is like, 5 or 6 pages, and doesn't even delve too deep into anything. so, good idea, bad result. but yeah, comics are still awesome and i have no idea what you're talking about with this seeing ahead business. that's like saying that a book lacks suspense because you can read ahead...?

i think for me, the visual aspect of comics is really weird because i always look to the end of a page, which i don't do when i read a book that is just words. so this may be an entirely personal experience that isn't true for those who DO read comics and DON'T read ahead in them. but i still think it's weird that the comics online kind of blow the mysteries still to come in the january episodes.
