Pitchfooooork

I'm off to the Pitchfork Music Festival this weekend. It should be wholly ridiculous and amazing and awesome. And the tickets cost $35. And I'll be seeing Orges AND Cristina. And we're liveblogging the whole thing via Twitter, which besides being unspeakably cool and nerdy is also really stroking my Web 2.0 ego. I have such a surge of excitement within me right now that it feels like I'm either a) just about to go on a date or b) just drank a very strong cocktail or glass of wine and can feel the burning in my throat still. More b) than a), but really a little of both. Keep up with the live blog this weekend if you want and pardon any drunk texting. That may happen.

I'll update you on the awesomeness when I get back Monday.

Hi Emily - Have fun. I was going to invite you to be a "friend" on my MySpace site - http:www.myspace.com/stevensolberg
but Caryl said you don't have a MySpace so I'm saying hello anyway. Kohl and I are up in Portland now but moving again in October to Minneapolis. How are you enjoying San Francisco? I lived there on and off in the late 60's and 70's in the hey day of the hippie counter-culture and always love The City!Even made a movie there in an old warehouse on 17th Street in the Mission District, "Luminous Procuress" which still has a life. In fact it just recently screened at three museums including the Tate London! And is being included in a documentary New Line Cinema is putting together! Hope all is well - Caryl and Bob are due for a visit August 6th which I'm really looking forward to and I am enjoying Lisbeth's letters from Vietnam...
